BHUBANESWAR: Students from Odisha have performed exceptionally well in the JEE (Advanced) examination results of which were announced on Sunday.
Over 11,000 seats from 23 IITs across the country are up for grabs this year. Although a consolidated figure is yet to be available, unconfirmed sources put the total number of students who qualified from Odisha at above 300.
The number of qualifications from the State is stated to be substantially high as compared to previous years if one goes by performance of students from individual schools. Swastik Sahu of Mother’s Public School emerged as the topper in Odisha with an All India Rank (AIR) of 382.
As many as 64 students from DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur are in the merit list….
